About us

Prosperis is a Lithuanian non-profit association founded in 2008. Our mission is to foster human connection, resilience, and growth through non-formal education, theatre, and orientation games. We believe that through play, movement, and shared exploration, people can rediscover belonging, rebuild trust, and transform isolation into community. We combine applied theatre methods (Playback, Forum, Documentary) with creative formats of educational orientation games — interactive routes in which participants solve challenges, tell stories, and reflect on collective experience.
This mix of art, education, and play helps us work effectively with refugees, youth, and communities in transition.

Our services

Prosperis participates in and co-develops grant programs in partnership with cultural, educational, and social organizations.
We design and implement international and local projects that combine art, education, and community development.
Our team regularly writes, coordinates, and participates in grant-funded initiatives focused on inclusion, creative learning, and intercultural dialogue.

Applied Theatre & Playback Theatre

Through our professional troupe Playback Theatre “Vakhtery”, we offer a wide range of theatre-based services:

Classical and thematic performances for communities, conferences, festivals, and social events. Real stories transformed into live theatre.

Interactive formats tailored to a specific theme, audience, or institutional context.

Professional development programs for educators, artists, NGOs, and companies — from 2-hour sessions to multi-day intensive labs.

Trauma-informed spaces designed for careful listening, emotional processing, and collective reflection.

Creative moderation of dialogues, conferences, strategic sessions, and educational events using applied theatre methods.

Original artistic productions developed independently or in collaboration within partnerships and grant programs.

Long-term Playback Theatre training courses and creative development modules for individuals and institutions.

Professional certification pathways for emerging trainers, facilitators, and cultural practitioners.

Our practitioners are certified by the Centre for Playback Theatre (New York) and have experience working with international organizations, cultural institutes, municipalities, and universities.

Orientation Games & Non-formal Education

We create and conduct orientation games — large-scale, participatory experiences that combine movement, exploration, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
These games are used as tools for education, integration, and community building, engaging participants from schools, NGOs, companies, and municipalities.

More than 1,000 orientation events have been held across Lithuania and Europe, reaching over 35,000 participants — from children and teachers to refugees and youth workers.

Grant Projects & Cultural Innovation

Prosperis actively works with grant-based cultural and educational initiatives:

  • Writing and managing project applications (Erasmus+, Nordic Culture Point, Lithuanian Culture Council, House of Europe, Culture Helps, Perform Europe)
  • Co-designing project concepts with partners
  • Participating as experts, trainers, and implementing partners
  • Facilitating evaluation, impact measurement, and storytelling components of cultural projects
  • Building long-term collaborations for sustainable cultural exchange and inclusion
